Xylem recognized for sustainability initiatives

Water technology company named to Dow Jones Sustainability Index; joins Ceres network of sustainable companies

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sep. 12, 2013-- Xylem Inc., a leading global water technology company focused on addressing the world’s most challenging water issues, announced today that it has been named to the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index and the Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index for the second year in a row in recognition of its ongoing sustainability initiatives. The company also announced that it has joined the Ceres company network as part of its commitment to continuously improving its sustainability performance and disclosure.
