Xylem to release flood management white paper at Global Forum on Urban Resilience

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May. 30, 2013-- Xylem Inc. (NYSE: XYL), a leading global water technology company focused on addressing the world’s most challenging water issues, will participate in the fourth Global Forum on Urban Resilience from May 31 to June 2 at the Gustav-Stresemann-Institut (GSI), in Bonn, Germany.

The forum, sponsored by ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability, will bring together approximately 500 city officials, civil society organizations, and thought leaders from around the world to share best practices and strategies for making cities more resilient to natural disasters. Xylem executives will participate in this event to share their experience and expertise in working with cities to anticipate, respond to, and recover from urban flooding, which is the most frequent and destructive natural disaster affecting cities globally.
